The Benedict Leadership Award is an annual award given to a Catholic or group of Catholics whose achievements reflect the heroic leadership of Saint Benedict. Candidates for The Benedict Leadership Award will include those who:
- Build enduring greatness in their organization or community;
- Lead others to their own success; and
- Utilize the principles of their faith in their leadership role.
The Institute hosts numerous symposiums and guest lectures for the Belmont Abbey student body on a variety of leadership topics. The purpose of this is to provide great examples of leadership for the students and to allow the students to interact with great catholic leaders.
